0:21be back yeah likewise uh glad to see you and Rosie on Exchange doing well you know we spoke in the in the 2021 run when everything was doing really well and honestly it was tough for a lot of crypto companies in 2022 but now it looks like the market is recovering and I'm glad to see rosion still standing strong expanding and with lots of updates to talk about not just over the

0:46past two years but what's happening right now with the huge expansion into rosion X layer two's arbitrum all of this let's dive right into it I would love to kick off our conversation with just a high level for those who aren't familiar with rosion and a little bit of the details on what you and the team have built around the derivatives exchange and then we'll dive into all

1:06the details okay yeah um you know let me start uh a little bit of History uh Ashton and I we we met uh two years ago 2021 where we launched Rosie on app so the idea was to build a mobile user-friendly uh D5 aggregated back then it was uh it was um you know D5 just entered it was new and it was it was it was quite dangerous people were

1:34uh getting lots of high apar but at the same time there was lots of runs so the the idea was for us to aggregate all the um legitimate defy application and services onto the palm of our you know in your head in the mobile app so we did that for almost two uh it's been two years now we've fully developed the mobile application we we met all um all of our roadmap commitments and and then

2:02of course we witnessed the the fall of FTX which really dragged the entire Market down um so you know our token went down I think 5x from ideal and and as a team we're like you know we love to do what we do we love to build we love to build um applications we love to build communities right now our community and our investors are hurting and we wanted

2:27to do something different so we took a little pivot we saw the opportunity and we decided we wanted to build an exchange a decentralized Exchange um so that's why we're here today is uh We've introduced The Exchange we're going to be uh re um swapping or are you know introducing a new token to replace the old token uh and the launch uh should be happening

2:52within weeks amazing thank you for the uh the background Alan and I feel like the timing for decentralized exchange couldn't be better you know with the fall of centralized exchanges and centralized yield generation platforms last year uh people are understanding that you know they need decentralization to have custody of their funds and also more importantly be able to swap them uh

3:18to other assets without giving that custody to a third party which they may or may not be able to trust so I feel like the timing is really good on this can you talk about you know the the positioning you know I've spoken to a few other decentralized exchanges who launched uh last year and they were hurting as well but now I feel like this is a major narrative moving forward if

3:38people are going to be swapping they're going to be wanting to use the Dex so what's the positioning and what do you think is most in demand for what people need for a decentralized exchange right now yeah yeah so that there are two key parts right so one is is uh the governance part right now our current token the rose on token or the original token uh it was just a utility token uh

4:05this is the reason why we're swapping to a new token it's a governance okay we want to give back uh Power to our community so for example uh We've launched over 30 Ideo on our Launchpad the last year and you know we we wish we could have um created a a dow and give our community the opportunity to vote for which projects would appear on a launch pad so then that way they can

4:34self-govern the entire process and that's just one aspect of of what we are planning to the the other thing with rose on X is it's a purp we're launching the perp first the perp is the derivatives platform so the ability to long and short you know during this bear Market to 2022 um our Revenue was very little it's just because we were a D5 application and the

5:01D5 application was based on staking so you know hold and uh and earn rewards it was very passive we wanted to be more an active uh investing opportunity and at the same time it can weather the bear market so you can short like if if it's a bear Market just keep shorting and you're making money while you're making money our platform will be making fees

5:23so we can and then of course you know it looks like the Walmart Market is coming people will just uh continue to long and then the opportunity to leverage your long at uh at 50x so you can borrow as much as 50x of your original position yet yeah that's good to know especially with some of the spot decentralized exchanges there's no way to do Advanced

5:49orders or or to short and it hopefully it looks like you know there won't be as much shorting with the crazy run that's happened this last week and maybe people are shorting the banks I'm not sure um it looks like crypto is going up now which is exciting for the whole industry um and to bring more awareness to you know people that want to trade to be

6:10able to use these decentralized exchanges and perks as well um and one other part I'm curious about with the exchange is you know what we've seen some from some of the major decentralized exchanges when they came out they were just running on ethereum ecosystem they had high fees and they're slow and from what I understand you're integrating whether it's layer twos or

6:32other technology to to scale and make sure that you know if there's small Traders using rosian that they're not you know having a high fee and not being making it worth it to actually trade yeah so you know when uh when we built the mobile app we we built it on ethereum and finance marching and at that moment minus my chain was one of the most efficient blockchain

6:59then and of course ethereum being the biggest chain but now the the um you know the landscape has changed the l2s have proven themselves polygon is has done very well but then you have this new project that came out of left field you know Arbor Trum it just took everybody by storm it uh it's extremely fast and because we're doing perp trading derivatives training

7:25um every second counts and the cost the fees are on Arboretum is extremely low and the chain is extremely fast in executing transactions so we've decided to uh move towards that direction we've already moved our mobile app and our infrastructure uh to support arbitrum and then of course once the exchange launches within a few weeks that will immediately uh support Arboretum that's

7:54great to know and I saw an announcement that you know in the in the in a few weeks it's been launching uh but there's I didn't see a specific date now I'm curious on you know how long your team has been working on you know this lead up to the launch now and if there is any specific time frame that's that people can look forward to for you know getting

8:16into it on day one yeah yeah so uh from the platform side um we're we're going to be making announcements this week uh when we will uh when the platform will be ready uh I would say within uh four to uh six weeks we'll be ready and then of course uh the the new token were already uh having uh the audits of our token so that that the swap should happen within

8:47three to four weeks uh we're gonna have the full timeline by then this week we're going to publish everything and I believe uh once everybody knows that we have uh things in place um you know it will be very uh will bring a lot of confidence into the community back to the community it's great to know um and one other part that I saw that looks like it's coinciding with the launch is

9:14these passes rosian passes and I'm not sure if it's an nft or a membership for Early Access members where there's advantages and bonuses when you're actually you know for people that are an engaging deeply in the exchange can you talk about that part and what's the added value for the pass holders in the exchange yeah yeah so you know uh we believe in if we do launch or sell any

9:40nfts they have to have utility and the the beauty with Roseanne is we have two applications we have a mobile application which is a D5 aggregator so you know the idea with the mobile aggregator is a it connects to every D5 services and then of course we have the text uh the perp text now so the utility would be uh you have access you have fee discounts yeah you know it's going to

10:07support nft avatars and then of course referrals and Affiliates uh you know higher commissions there's a lot of utility so we're we're making sure that uh this first nft launch that we have for rose on X or the new rose on uh it's going to be you know has high utility you should be able to use it for both applications

10:35okay that's good to know and I've been following the markets a little bit and it's been great for for Bitcoin and ethereum it was just the start of 2023 but also saw a huge Resurgence uh with Rosen token as well uh much more than you know many other dexes and things like that so it looks like it's been very well for your team um and I think part of it is probably

10:55the anticipation of this swap to the rosion X token um is there going to be other opportunities for people that you know weren't involved with with Roseanne in in the previous app where they don't have the the current soon to be older token right now that maybe they could pick up the older token for the swap or is there going to be an airdrop or other incentivizations where

11:20they actually just use the application to get some of the benefits from the rosion X token yeah so uh every token Holder will have a one-to-one swap and of course everything we do we always we always think about our original our original investors our community first so uh everybody will get a one-to-one swap if you have your tokens in our mobile app

11:47it'll be uh you don't need to know worry about anything it'll happen automatically if you're staking in our app it will just happen automatically your rewards will be updated automatically with the new tokens you don't have to worry if you have our tokens held in your own wallet um we will provide a guide where you can go on our swap portal to manually do

12:10swap if you have tokens on our many the exchanges that we support mxc gate and kucoin we're working with those guys closely we want to make sure that it's seamless to uh to the investors or to the users itself but again um the key the key benefit of this nft pass and the new token holder is we're going to give you higher uh you know higher APR when you stake because you

12:39already a holder you probably have a VIP status in our current app that carries on to the new world so we don't forget that you were a VIP one two three or four you continue on and you will reap those benefits as VIP members very exciting and from from what I understand with the app you know it not a lot of these

13:06decentralized exchanges um and and defy apps actually have an app but this is available for people in in the app stores and if they want to prepare you know to best prepare for for this new launch it's probably a good idea to download the app in the mobile app store and then look at the defy yields and probably stake some of the Rosie on tokens in there to make it the

13:28most seamless and prepare for the continued growth what I'm seeing in the market for the rosion X uh launch yeah um so is it just available on all mobile phones it's on on Apple uh on Apple store it's on Google we have more than 300K downloads uh we have 307k user base um all over southeast Asia all over the world except us except us

13:57um you know we've been around for a while now and I think that's probably why we had such a positive uh impact from the arbitrary Community as they never heard of us and then as soon as we committed ourselves to joining their community and then they wrote they read our background they're like wow these guys have been around forever we've been building since you know during the bear

14:18Market we were heads down building building and building we did not give up we knew that this day would come we knew that um you know every Bowl comes there and then back to the mall so it's it's a it's it's every cycle right we understand we've seen many cycles so we anticipate it and we just made sure we played the long game amazing well I'm looking forward to this
