These terms govern your use of blockwest.co and the BlockWest newsletters, videos and social channels (together, “BlockWest”). BlockWest is operated by BlockWest Media LLC. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Who may use BlockWest
You must be at least 16 years old to use the site. If you use BlockWest on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
Our content
Articles, videos, newsletters, graphics and data compilations on BlockWest are owned by BlockWest Media LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may read, link to and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link. You may not republish whole articles, scrape the site in bulk, or use our content to train machine learning models without written permission.
What you send us
If you submit a tip, a correction or other material, you keep ownership of it and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, reproduce and adapt it in connection with BlockWest. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to share.
Acceptable use
Do not use BlockWest to break the law, harass anyone, post misleading or manipulative content about an asset, impersonate others, upload malware, probe or interfere with the site’s security, or scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others.
No advice
BlockWest publishes news, data and commentary for general informational purposes only. Nothing on it is financial, investment, trading, legal, accounting or tax advice, and nothing is an offer or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. See the Disclaimer for the full statement, including our commercial relationships. The Disclaimer forms part of these terms. You are responsible for your own decisions.
Third-party links, data and services
The site links to other websites and displays market data, charts and embedded media from third parties. We do not control those sources, do not verify their data in real time, and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of BlockWest at any time.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
BlockWest is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlockWest Media LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or trading losses, arising from your use of BlockWest. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify BlockWest Media LLC against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice, and continuing to use the site after it takes effect means you accept it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. If that fails, you and BlockWest Media LLC agree that the state and federal courts located in Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction, and each of us consents to venue there. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us about BlockWest.
