I'm ashon Addison from the cryptocoin show and today on blockchain interviews with Marco stagliano CEO of another one Marco welcome to the show and thanks for taking the time thank you ason for having me here very glad to to have uh our company myself here at the show explaining what we're doing so looking forward definitely I've been following another
one for quite a while and I know that this this notion of ftiz things moving from physical to digital is something that's becoming ever more popular and people that have yet to understand the benefits and I know that they I feel like eventually everything is going to be ftiz uh and there's going to be added physical items and digital items and you can have a clone of both um and I'm
excited to dive into this topic today with you um I would love to start off by maybe we can just start with a high level of another one and what your team is working on and then we can dive into everything fidal definitely definitely uh yeah fital has been like M mainstream word uh for the last two years but there is different conception of fital uh
especially on a company that's work in this industry in the what we call the fital realm uh the the view of another one is that the uh product should be um should be always uh pertaining to the same Dimension meaning that uh when you talk about fital you have the physical aspect and the digital aspect we have also a third um a third let's say uh Dimension that
is uh the the fal identity because the fital identity of of a product is what what create the expression on a physical uh on the physical side that is the product itself the physical product and the identity on the digital s that could be uh either um a skin a wear digital wearable in different platforms but the identity is always the same so this is
how we create we approach the the the fital realm and for us the the everything starts from the fal Identity or what they call today the digital product passport that is the identity uh the certif certification of guarantee of the authenticity of the product and the and the let's say the part that contain all the data of the product so this is very important because for us is a is
something that NE doesn't does never have to be separated from the physical product now uh what we do at another one is we create this seamless connection using two type of Technology one is the blockchain technology through the uh collection of nft we create a mean collection of nft that are paired with physical product the physical product connection happens through
NFC the the reason why nearfield communication uh for those of you that are not familiar with the technology um the reason why we use NFC chip is because of the encryption level that is very high it's also because it's uh unique so each NFC is an ID so an identity that can be paired with an nft that is also unique in this way we create uniqueness between the real world
and the physical the physical world and uh I think this is one of the main points uh for another one to create a fital offering not only for uh bu not only for Consumer as we did in the past with many launches but now today also for business it's a great intro Marco and I want to dive in a little bit more specific on some of the early use cases I feel like this can be used for
everything but what I have seen in the market for example some designer shoes that are very rare and exclusive and there's a lot of knockoffs of these kinds of products how can you prove the authenticity if you can take a physical shoe that's you know maybe there's only one or only 10 in the world put that NFC chip on it and also tokenize it into an
nft have it on the blockchain then it can prove that authenticity I feel like all types of fashion perhaps uh this would come in handy is that one of the main use cases that you're seeing for fidge izing items um or are you other seeing different types of products as well I guess what you um what you mentioning uh is we referring to is probably something that belongs more on
the realm of the real wood aets so let's say that the fital um the fital space uh is uh is probably a a a a portion of the real asset reable asset are product that already existing that you falize so you tokenize meaning that you uh you create a digital uh identity of of a product that is already
existing uh this this happened with the um real estate for example there is a organization that is mostly uh use for um partializing um property so having having multiple uh multiple people owning uh a property that probably cannot be divided uh in case of uh shoes it's funny funny enough that you mention that because uh if we
go a little bit back in the history of another one uh I have to admit I'm a I'm a sneaker lover I'm a sneaker heads as we call ourself in the in uh in the industry and uh I collect sneakers and most of my my uh co-founder are also sneakerheads so the another one as a project born in 2021 as a platform for boosting um the secondary markets the secondary Market
trading of sneakers because as you mentioned there are sneakers that are valuable and you want to make sure they're they are not fake they're original they are legit as we say um so inputting a an NFC chip that they can create that can provide this authenticity uh proof and uh and can can give the certainty of a of the originality of a product it would be
great now what is the problem and why we decided to uh pivot from uh um let's say real asset to uh full fital the problem is that in this case you always need uh authenticator so there is nothing change from the original process of uh let's say big company like stockx Amazon they facilitate the trade and they put in a mid level of uh uh middle level of
authentication process who but uh you know uh when I studyed finance back in the days there was always a say on on the controller who control the controller who makes sure that the controller makes his is work right right the job right um so what we decided is what if the the product itself is natively fital that's why we decided to uh create a product that at this origin
is vigital so he has a a digital identity is origin and it's not uh possible to Contra Fates because you can copy the NFC ID but you cannot copy The Binding of that NFC ID with a a specific nft that you need to own because if you don't own the nft it means that the product is fake and this is this is how we uh let's say approach the the space and this is how
we um we decided to uh further develop the technology because the is not the only use the Contra proof and uh this is this is what most of the company in uh in in our uh space like legitimate collect ID iyk Tamera uh are doing because they're working on on digital uh product passports and authenticity what we do uh in in
addition is talk and get it experience because once you have the digital part and the physical part and you can recognize you can track them that means that you can breach the offline experience and online experience imagine you got to the stadium you wear your fital jersey and then uh the fal Jersey itself serves as a ticket for entrance or you can participate to a raffle just
because you were present at that day and uh or even you can place a bet and because you're wearing your team uh Jersey you can have a booster this is something that connect the offline interaction and online interaction plus a multiple way of creating gamification in inside events as uh as we did recently that's allow the brands to to keep in contact with their consumer and
to the consumer to benefit in monetizing their uh FAL product so I guess uh on based on on this I would say we use fital not only for authenticity not only for traceability maybe also sustainability because we can create a way to offer uh products that are prepaid and also pre-order so we don't waste stock we don't waste um space for
inventory as we did for our collection in tier one meta that was fully pre-ordered um and uh the engagement the boosting of the engagement both from both sides uh I guess those are the three major benefit that we see in FAL product especially in fashion no that's really cool Marco um because you know authenticity is is great to see but it's not as exciting as
some of those other uh value ads that you mentioned about adding bonuses or proving that you were somewhere um or being in the club automatically if you're wearing something um that's really cool and for those kinds of advancements to happen does another one make uh brand to business ships um or do are you working on a b Toc kind of relationship how exactly can you form
some of these things to to turn into reality yeah we uh we started the we started with a b2c approach uh through the years we sold over a million dollar of nfts uh those nfts were all wearables um we had n meta there the also digital wearable in the central so you have the shoe you have the the wearable in the centrin uh we had casad
day uh a shoe we luure share um business with who we we created also collection but the main point is that um business now are very skeptic on the nft uh product let's say they see it as a as a speculative RIS High risky um and they're they're not willing to uh let's say work with us if there is the nft W in the in the discussion so
what we what we decided is that we kept the b2c um the b2c formats our Launchpad and in fact uh we will start uh soon also the sale of a new project that is called temply is amazing is a snow boots created in collaboration with this brand that creates uh outdoor jacket for snowboards so it was like a very long long journey with for us because it it it it let's say proved our uh
capabilities in terms of product development um but we decided to uh to also interact with the business on a B2B level so we are supplier or provider of technology and supplier of merchandising because we have also merchandising capabilities and we want to distinguish in the market as a One-Stop shop solution you come to us and you don't need to have any knowledge of blockchain
any knowledge of design any knowledge of merchandising you can just give us a moodboard and we come to you with an offering a complete offering of collection uh product quality of the of the fabric and and also the the potential um interoperability of the digital asset in which platform uh that's that's a unique uh sell proposition of of another one
because gives a um um holistic approach in the fital realm and allow any business to start a FAL collection with as little as $1,000 MH hm wow that's really cool and you mentioned there uh on the digital side you know you mentioned de centraland uh when I remember when you know fidal items you know I've been following along a little bit since 21 and there was the notion
that these items also be used in the metaverse um although I feel like uh it's going to be it's going to have great potential the metaverse isn't exactly um somewhere where people are hanging out for hours and hours at a time uh it's probably something where you can collect these rare items and then when it does become more popular you know you're going to have those
items digitally forever uh and I also feel like you could use it in web 3 gaming as more games uh enable you know movement of nfts and personal items into the game what do you think about where we're at with metaverses web 3 gaming and the popularity of digital items now and in the future is it something that it's going to be a huge Market I believe it's going to be a a
huge Market uh because there is a lot of potential uh in terms of like cross uh cross interop interoperability just imagine you you buy a pair of shoe you go to shopping center buy a pair of shoes then when you get out of shopping center the clerk say hey no stop you need to leave the shoes here you cannot walk out with those shoes that's that's what's happening today in the meterse
just byy something that you can use there uh now the work that we're doing is collaborating with more platform possible where again the nft that it becomes a digital identity allow the interoperability now the centraland uh has the linol API that allow to build the asset and and uh and connect the asset with a specific nft so that the platform recognize if you have the nft
you can have the accit token get experience same is happening with sandbox they they're releasing the new feature that is called uh nft Scan they uh where they recognize that you have a specific nft in the wallet and if that nft has uh has a is a an asset related to that nft um you can have um the digital asset in the game or you can have I I think they did uh
something with meso Marella recently where they have an avatar wearing the meso Marella outfits or specific uh avatar look um because they disconnected with nft so all those work that they're doing are very important uh in terms of interoperability because with the same nftd so with the same asset I can have uh multiple experience in different
metaverse with the same with the same same product and uh this is also important because uh it give us also the possibility to trace the interaction in different platforms meaning that we can create crossplatform um cross crossplatform let's say competition where um you can um you can actually save your um experience that you earn in one platform and bring it to
the other because it's connected to the nft that in this case is the wearable so that's that's uh what I see where are we now I think we're still a little bit far from uh deploying completely this uh cross interaction and cross interoperability because there is also another problem that is the cross chain because some wearables are some nftd are on one chain other NFD are in another
chain we chose polygon as a chain because it's U let's say U it's very convenient in terms of transaction and you have to think every time you interact with another one technology there is a blockchain transaction so that means that it needs to be cheap in terms of gas fee uh and also a lot of a lot of metaverse use polygon um so that's the reason why we chose this uh
this chain but in the future I'm pretty sure that uh Solana or other platform other chain will get arbit room for example for gaming is uh is coming up so um it will be important also to uh to keep uh that um in the loop uh but of course as everything when you when you touch cross chain there is the security level problem and if we're talking about
authenticity that is something uh fundamental right uh that needs to be needs to be assessed so uh I think there are many challenges uh up to now but uh and another one is one of those company that is working through the possibility of uh of having this interoperability and we hope we have more Partners in the future no that's great to hear I appreciate the insights into the
metaverse side I agree that uh there it is there's a lot of different parts moving Parts with different blockchains and interoperability between metaverses um but I feel like it's something that uh there's a lot of people that are paying attention to not just people who like fashion and and and digital ident you know customizing their digital identity but also investors and people
who see uh this as a huge Market because I think it will be a big Market um as big as potentially real world fashion uh on the digital side um and and on that blockchain note about polygon I think polygon personally is a great blockchain for metaverse and for doing transactions you know I've used it recently and you know it's a scent or under a cent for
moving something whereas even some of the other ones you may be paying uh a dollar or you know quarter 50 cents something like that so polygon seems to be one of the best options right now um but I I'm hoping they'll be more of a cohesive uh cross blockchain movement and and the metaverse it will be Omni chain it will work with all chains and hopefully be almost free for making
transactions so um but I like where you guys are at right now with that um and I want to ask Marco about the other side the flip side of this in the uh the non-tech side on the fashion side in in the traditional world you know which is huge like for example Paris fashion week or New York Fashion Week is this something that they're interested in adopting this kind of Technology maybe
even moving it into the metaverse eventually as well um I think there is a lot of interest especially for the um anti-c Contra fate um aspect of of digital now um as I mentioned I I mentioned digital product passport uh the digital product passport in Europe will be mandatory from 2026 meaning that all product of fast moving
consumer goods product will need to have the digital product passport now if we're talking about I don't know um candies or um uh you know grocery product uh those will have a different digital identity that won't be it will be all the same for for each of them but the the the products that are like more um that have a um price
value a higher price value like luxury product they will uh they will definitely will be implemented with the technology similar to what another one does because you want to know that that is the eighth of out of 100 piece that was producted produced and you want to make sure that um everyone knows that and then especially the customer is sure that that is the eighth piece that has
been produced now uh this is this is one aspect the main um uh the main problem I see uh and that uh the luxury brand don't see is that there is much more than uh only that's um that that's the potential of a FAL product because as I say the fal product unlocks not only the authenticity proof
but also the engagement boosting now of course if you're talking about Brands like uh luxury Brands let's not let's not uh give names uh but if you're talking about about the tier uh one luxury Brands the the usual consumer they may be not interested in uh I don't know a discount uh in in a hotel because uh maybe is is that level of consumer there more interested in exclusivity but
even in exclusivity um with a fital product you uh you have the possibility to say that that person was at that event wearing that product so proof of proof of proof of presence um proof of wearing um and I think it's it's also uh the data that is originated by this by all those uh offline interaction are very valuable of course you can tell me
well there is a there is the Privacy uh problem that you that you may have because clients especially like clients of luxury Brands they don't want everyone handling their their their uh information um but this this is the beauty of the of the blockchain because I don't need to have the personal data of the of the person I may have a code that only the brand knows who belongs
that code but I know that that code is a is a a t-shirt from the brand XY Z and has been at the event of uh the uh company XY Z and all this information that can be um decrypted by um the brand itself that has the the data or can be stored on chain and can be totally invisible for me but uh we we use uh fractal that is they use polygon ID uh
as um as an interface for our kyc that means that people that join our platform we will know that they are real people and they have uh they have real address um where to ship the product but we don't know we we don't have access to their information their information will be stored and will be um will be sent to the uh logistic partner to send uh the
final product but as far as we have we have just a code that we pair with a number of shoe or a size of a of a T-shirt and so that's that's important also to say because most of the luxury brand that we talked uh recently they were really afraid about the uh privacy of of the customer and this is where the blockchain come at use because uh it's important to to uh that we have
instruments at the moment we have tools to um to avoid the leaking of uh private information uh of the uh of the consumer so I guess uh that's what uh refrain a bit the luxury Brands to further explore the potential of FAL product um but I I think they will they'll come around definitely especially for the digital activation once the metaverse
would be will be a little bit more popular than now no that that's great insights Marco thank you for that and I can see a few scenarios that I would be personally excited about if you could as they do in nfts you know sort of have a rarity or have a mint number of each of those you know designer jackets if you are getting jacket number number one you
know right now you can't really prove which number which jacket was made first you know they're all just the same there's a limited number but they're all the same um but if you can really narrow that down to each one and have it verifiable on the blockchain um there's more of an incentive for me to hey get number one um or or or even um you know game worn jerseys of football players or
the football itself you know you could scan that at the Super Bowl and during the Super Bowl to prove it it will be on no one could ever swap that ball out in the future um because it won't have that that figal access in it so I feel like the possibilities are endless to improve the value that uh this world could bring by incorporating the fital yeah yeah definitely it's uh it's
funny enough that you that you mention uh the sports area because it's one of the area that we're uh currently exploring and um unfortunately I cannot say uh much uh yet but uh we're about to sign with a big Sports Club in Italy wow uh it's um from the area sou first League uh to be the official fital partner uh and
providing fital merchandising and uh Sports is one of those uh um sector where we we would like to dig more because um you know if you go to an event and you have uh the merchandising of the event either don't one everyone work walks around with the same t-shirt it will will looks weird but if you go to a football match everyone wears the same Jersey because everyone is a
supporter so this is where that fital activation it's it's it's real it's really powerful because you have to engagement you have the fan base you have the Chemistry Between the brand and the and and the fan that allow gamification inside the the event concert music concert uh big big big uh events like I don't know Tomorrowland where you have all those people that
interact with each other and are willing to interact with each other and actually we recently released um an app on Apple Store and Google store is called a in1 connect that interact with the NFC for networking and if you got to we tried it on W Sumit XT Side Event web threee Fest and DTC group at the token 249 you go with a visual bracelet that is something
that um resemble this uh bracelet with an NFC chip embedded and uh you enter so the the cler of the entrance can scan the NFC and can verify that you are wi listed to enter but then you can interact with our app scan your NFC input your name and then go around and scan other people C and challenged them to with quits uh miname or uh or even um networking session where I can prove
that I met Ashton for example and I had the interview with Ashton uh and that's that's all onchain and so this is this is something that uh we recently built and uh and it will definitely boost the uh futural aspect of a of a product wow very cool I'm excited to see how that expands and especially once you get football clubs involved as well I know you know
that could that could potentially break blockchain and fidal into millions and millions of people because uh you know football's pretty popular um so I'm excited to see how that grows out um you know Marco I was curious looking through another one um I saw that you also have a Launchpad can you talk about what exactly the Launchpad does and and how that helps uh the businesses and
customers yeah the Launchpad is um so we have Launchpad for Consumer and what we call toolbox for business the lunch pad for Consumer is to um to purchase directly from another one the product that we created for um for other business for example I say that we have this new uh product the templa boots that is called underworld um that will be featured um on uh uh that it will be
featured on wwd high Beast for the winter collection of templa we're very proud about this product and uh one of the way to buy to purchase the product would be throughout lunch but that uh now is integrated also with the credit card access through the um through Alchemy pay so uh you can buy the product in crypto you can buy you can buy the product in uh with credit cards
so in Fiat uh one of the thing that I have to mention also to make the access easy also for web to user because templa is a most mostly a web to um fashion brand that has a web to audience we decided to um um to integrates our Launchpad with fra with uh sorry with um particle particle is a company that allow a web to talk and geted access to
a web3 platform meaning that you can create your another one user with your phone number with your email or using your social Instagram uh Instagram Twitter we will create a a wallet on the uh on the in the back for you that is yours and you can use to own to own and Al uh all the NFD that you purchase with another one so this makes it things very easy and and smooth uh and we actually
uh for the business s we going um we are automat automatizing the level of um uh of production because if from the um from the consumer side you're capable to buy to redeem and uh we take care also of the logistic from the business side what we do is that we will provide uh let's say a a kind of a shop for merchandising where they can select
the type of merchandising the uh the type of design um we if if it's a simple merchandising for example uh simple a A4 heat print on the front and the back a little embroidery on the top or on the side of the of the shirt it's it's something that can be automated uh we usually it takes one 1.5 hour of time of our um project manager to to manage one one of those collection
getting the right fight getting the right image providing the image to to the factory make sure that the image and the colors of the factory match and that's it uh we go with the production if we can automatize this Parts it means that we can allow uh lower price for our product and also we can industrialize and mechanize all all the um other the
production for B2B because our goal at the end of the day is not having 10,000 unique pieces made with a super luxury brand our goal is to have a million pieces a million item sold per year because the more people have FAL product the more is possible to unlock the the real potential of fijal and that's the reason why we also decided to open our business to uh to B2B aspect yeah I
think that's a strategy and uh in this area the more the better because it's something that uh it's eventually it will become the norm where people will see uh a physical item with the digital attachment um and so I think the more the better to get it you know adopted quicker um I'm excited to see how it continues to grow out um you know we don't have a lot of time left Marco but
I'm excited for uh what you mentioned and I'm curious if there's anything else more in the road map for for 24 2025 you know what are sort of the major milestones in what you're looking at the major Partnerships how else is another one planning to grow uh 2024 will be the year of U uh exploitation of this Sports industry so as I said we we're going to have this
partnership we're looking also at our partnership we we're talking actually with a lot of football club uh both uh male and female football cuz also female football club is uh women sorry women football club uh men and women uh women football club is becoming um popular especially in uh in UK um but we have a Betting Company gaming company uh of course fashion
company so this this will be the year for us to build a solid pipeline of uh leads with uh with business to create more uh product and we we really aim uh at at least 300,000 item of digital item that to be released uh from another one this year because we want to have uh more customer that have the possibility to unlock this potential so this would
be the main um the main Milestone that we want to achieve um the second one is uh exploring cross chain uh inoperability because we definitely want to be in uh in different let's say region uh as as essentially same same as a fashion branded open Boutique in different cities uh we want to open our Boutique in the in different chains um and uh lastly is the um Improvement of
the uxui of our uh a in1 connect so the mini game product and releasing also the flex to earn that as of now is flex to earn is an app that allow to um it generate a blockchain transaction when I scan the NFC so we created the um um the software that recognize the NFC recognize the nft connected to the NFC and reward the wallet they held uh the
hold the NFD so with a simple scan I can authenticate give you access for for as a ticket for entrance and I can also reward your wallet with a PP or stable coin or another one token or or um in-game asset and all of this happen only with the scan so what we want to do is like we want to create uh um integration of the the flex to and the another one connect mini game so that
you can play as a t game Only If For example you have the p uh of that event if you came to the Token 249 this year you will have access to a specific experience next year the token 249 if you bring your let's say f braslet um so th those would be the main um uh the the main Milestone uh but on the um token side uh we're also excited
to launch our token uh this year and uh we're now finalizing the list of exchanges and and launchpads uh so follow our social for um knowing a little bit more about our Ido uh and the launch of the token and I guess lastly uh very important um um announcement is that uh we are participating to this Amazon Prime show that is called uh Crypton nights it's uh
something similar to Shark Tank uh but only for crypto project and um it will be uh it will be aired in uh I guess in Q3 and another one is one of the contestants so uh best of luck to us cool that's very exciting I I will watch for you guys on the uh on the television uh for that I'm going to check it out I have seen the show um I I will leave a link to the miname for A1 um the the Ido
details for the token uh the access to the Launchpad so people can check out you know what are the fidal products that they can get access to uh and some of the socials if people are interested in learning more about uh what are the other uh plans and more specific dates as they come closer uh to when things are launching it's always nice when there's a launch of something to get in
right away cuz especially if it's for exclusive things as uh could be when you're fizzing you know luxury products there's only a few and they always disappear right away so um it's good to stay on top of that I can definitely leave all the show notes uh all those links in there um I appreciate your time Marco and your insights into the fidal world it's something that I I think is
going to become more familiar to more people really soon and I think this is at the Forefront of innovation um I'm excited to learn more about it through you and I'm wishing another one all the best in the very near future I would love to follow up uh very soon thank you Aston for having me here uh fital is always about education we educate consumer on the potential we
educate the business to educate their consumer on the potential so it's important to have a show like yours that give a a voice to another one to spread the the fal words and I guess I'll uh I'll leave you with my usual quote let's get fital
