I'm Ashlyn Addison from event chain for investmentpitch media and FinTech news network and today on blockchain interviews we have Daniel JPS ooh the CEO of Y dreams global welcome to the show Daniel it's a pleasure to have you here today hey no problem if you would Daniel start out a little bit with how you got into Y dreams global what you guys are exactly doing in the
industry and how you're focusing on VR and AR 13 years ago so the market of course was very different in terms of technology a lot of the technologies now we take for granted where you've ended back then why I was born from helping brands to bring those new technologies interactive technologies to their advanced museums retail stores
everything so we were very we followed the technology interactive immersive technologies like augmented reality brutally honest very close and reapplying them very fast in the market as they came with Salman for example in 2014 during the World Cup where the first holes in the world to create the virtual reality experience for coca-cola so we always we always asking seeing
lawyers coming and trying to introduce them to Frances as quick as it came that's great and Wow 13 years ago that's you know you guys really have a lot of history I'm sure you've experienced the growth of the industry firsthand and I couldn't even imagine you know how far we've come since the beginning of VR headsets and now all the technology that we have has the technology been rapidly
changing in your eyes and do you think that it will be changing even faster upcoming so dinner but we already working with augmented reality but mobile devices did not allow it so we were talking about reality using projections right so large means right people would see themselves
in those addition though I'm sorry interact with future Letterman so anything you do now with your phone pointing at things or who hit yourself and applying filters different snapchat filters this was done all in empathy with projections back then so we see the evolution special in the hardware side know what allows you to have this technologies be more broadly used than
than before which was and not happen to be most advanced and stores of police in controlled environments that's crazy yeah the the use of mobile phones now means that everybody can have a are and to have it on you know projectors before it seems archaic at this damage so you mentioned that you guys worked with coca-cola in 2013 that's that's really amazing how many projects have you guys
worked with so far since you started you know with project but first makes you work with different technologies and learn about how it connects them together so we can finance in the same in the same space in finance virtual reality augmented reality you know touch
screens and etc so they'll tell us great the quantity of projects really come with the best home for us now the future hopefully passes now through creating products I think that's where the skill abilities or the volume in revenues can increase so I think our mindset is that the products who create brings innovation and in a lab and then we can get the better the best ideas the most
profitable ideas and then we can turn them into projects and roll them out that's awesome Daniel yeah I had the pleasure of experiencing one of your projects at the VRA our conference in Vancouver the are cave where I did a you know multiplayer VR with some of my teammates and we went and fought some some zombies which was a super amazing expiry what can you tell us about our cave and
you know what's your favorite thing about it projects and we start using so much that we start analyzing the market that so a year and a half ago we saw that a lot of their products are created for entertainment using jars entertainment you're still lacking some of basic elements definitely it's a very popular attraction so so we wanted to our focus us to create something first
seung-jo but it just described as hand card for us you're playing with your friends you play with you know you've linked together inside the same game so we wanted to create something else multiplayer and not only moves it clear that you could see your friends and yourself inside the game as a full-body avatar and now it's last year you see the success of hordes niner completely
based on avatars keeps playing for hours and pay a lot of money just to unlock new skills and new avatars right so for us social experience and there was crucial that have money avatars and what attracted and then if of course this in supports the mobility of it so we wanted something completely wireless so people to move around and used arena and be
very physical inside that they are and in the end of the day we want to people to leave the experience to think they are inside the game something that was not allowed before in this generation of headsets came along so so we're very excited about our cake would be presenting in events like the wedding with handed and really plan to the test not only in the PR industry but now in
the entertainment industry as well and just come back from – Orlando where all the companies to have virtual reality projects that are for the family entertainment center industry they were all there and we could see that our bathroom paid off because we were the first of all to be completely wireless using the wireless adapter I dip into backpacks and people just has been a
great time and empty carbon gamers we also promote reading high quality graphics and that's not how long what a large before Banach job I think the way to go definitely ya know the graphics were amazing in our cave when we did play it and that was one of the things that most people first notice when VR came out was that the environment didn't really have the depth
of field or the bright colors and the clarity that you would hope and we're sort of moving from like a PlayStation classic graphics over to you know more 4k quality this is one of the limitations of of yvr hasn't been adopted so quickly do you see these limitations being overcome quickly well the technology get you know better very soon and will there be more games to
play as well one of course is what is consumer base right so how many people have your home and and for those people how many people use the our home regular jiz and all the pens and content that really makes it you know creating an addictive conference that you want to
play to be play and play in so I think that would be take a while especially because with their pollution you buy a headset next year it's already obsolete right so high power our direction as far as the location-based entertainment we really feel like future reality as a tool for entertainment centers and out of home entertainment is the best way to
go because it can bring expensive equipment for the market reading perhaps the crowd really brings high high in quality and you know we are even in the entertainment area where you know you don't have to want to leave your house right you wanted to use it a lot of the fun things with your friends of science and the options you know totally for variety movie theaters are getting lower
a tendency rates same with shopping mall so it gives a lot of opportunities for entertainment industry to rise up and become the next big gathering place I completely agree so one of your main headquarters is based in Brazil and then you also have an office in Vancouver you know where are you seeing the projects that are popping up located mainly I know you know VR is really bringing us
all together and at a certain point you know I can be in Vancouver you can be in Brazil and we can be in the same room in virtual reality but there you guys have worked with so many projects are they mainly based in North America or is this truly a global effort South Korea Russia France any any comes over 30 countries but in North America you are
why dreams is going to focus certain products and one in RK would you know and the other one we're creating is really supports that we want to launch for next year so I feel like the presence in white dreams isn't in North America it's not going to be so much as an agency as we are still working very close with brands that that might happen and we do have
some strategic projects over here but our goal is really to focus on on the projects that have a scalability were looking for I think that's possible and for shareholders looking for because then we can see that grass growth in revenues by the company for the next year definitely I agree so and so in terms of VR games if they are entertainment you know where do you guys
see your projects shifting is it throughout the whole spectrum and and you know what business models in these industries will be most lucrative for you guys from trampoline park you know a bowling alley and bigger family entertainment centers like did buzzes they're all looking for how hope if you
are be profitable and attractive the crowd so you all know through good content right content that people want to play over and over in that's well look at some of its technical buffler right people wanting to put their name on the high score just go gather to play assume that it was the best pac-man player so I think that this new generation now that the hardware is being very well
established and I think not we're going to get into their content so a couple of diners will come along and we'll start breaking the crowd they're going to really bring the people there wants to try a high quality CPR and we hope to be one of those first choices for our creators ready but they know we're always going to bring a high quality experience we want to make they are not
just an experience but really a game a game that it's hard to beat a game that high high scores a game that you can confuse tournaments to you know bring people and organize opera is condemned insanity we've been into the big tournaments excuse the winner I think is a big prize things like that so I think our home entertainment for VR that's that's the way it has to go it
has to entertain more my network will support you and then of course in the future in a couple years from now I think must establish a different equipment it's been evolving so much that people would be able to have it at home so maybe you get your card out of the garage and you better play a pre-roll in VR you know with your friends why not right it's a great space
there's no furniture so I think that death is the next step then it's time people we want to have this at home in an easy way that they don't have to push the furniture way it also does guess what I think it's going and that level of immersive experience that that's what people what I completely agree and we're getting there and you know from your experience being in the industry so long
how long do you think it will take until we get to that level where you know people almost prefer to be in their virtual reality space that they've created rather than in the real world for people those very simple chat rooms
do to me if I talk random people and it's already migrating to VR and it is better as you get more and more contact situation almost like a second life if you are right I think of the people who have that tendency are really kind of digging in and dive into the sushi roll digital digital life I think that a lot of people require any doing that and become more more popular now I think if
you can get mainstream in a couple of years in a sense that people who will have this in their homes it's going to be a very popular house and we still a couple years away from there that's why we are getting so much out of home and location-based that's great well it's good that you guys are ahead of the game and it sounds like you're getting prepared for that stage so I know I was
super excited after I played our cave I would highly recommend other people check it out as well and for people to look into why dreams global I'm sure there are many projects looking to include innovative technologies like VR and AR if there are projects that are looking to reach out to you or people want to learn more what is the best way to get involved with wide range global
