What we cover
BlockWest covers the intersection of public markets, artificial intelligence, digital assets and policy. That means the companies with real exposure to crypto and AI (exchanges, miners, treasury companies, chipmakers, ETF issuers), the macro forces that move them (rates, central banks, legislation), and the blue-chip assets themselves (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and the major networks). We deliberately do not cover memecoins, presales, price predictions or anything whose only story is a pump.
How stories are produced
BlockWest is a fast-moving news desk. Many of our articles begin as reports from established third-party outlets and wire services that we monitor throughout the day. Our editorial system, which includes AI-assisted drafting tools built and supervised by our team, restructures those reports into the BlockWest format: a plain-language summary, the key figures, the relevant public companies and assets, and what to watch next. Every article is filtered against our coverage standards before it is published, and stories that fall outside our beat or below our sourcing bar are discarded rather than published.
Original reporting, interviews and analysis are produced by the BlockWest and Crypto Coin Show team. Interviews are on the record unless clearly labeled otherwise.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to get it right the first time. When we do not, we fix it fast. Material corrections are made in the article body and noted at the bottom of the piece. If you believe something we published is inaccurate, email us at the address on our contact page with the article link and the issue, and a human editor will review it.
Bylines and editing
Stories that begin as third-party reports and pass through our editorial system carry the byline “BlockWest News Team” and are marked “Edited by Ashton Addison”. Stories written from primary documents (regulator releases, filings, central bank statements) and original reporting carry Ashton Addison’s byline. Ashton Addison is the founder and editor of BlockWest and is responsible for everything published here. Every article shows its publication time and, where it has changed materially, its last update time.
Independence and sponsored content
Advertisers and sponsors do not influence our news coverage. Any content that is paid for, produced in partnership with a third party, or that includes affiliate links is labeled as such at the top of the piece. Interview guests do not pay for editorial coverage; where a guest package includes distribution services through Crypto Coin Show, that is a media services arrangement and is disclosed on the relevant content.

Prices, market capitalizations and related figures on BlockWest are provided by third-party data services and refreshed automatically. They can be delayed or wrong, and they are never a recommendation. See our disclaimer.
